Hello,

I mistakenly removed a special screw as I attempted to install an engine slider on my 2012 Ducati Panigale S. I realized my mistake when oil started pouring out of the crankcase!

I quickly screwed the fastener back in, but I am not sure how many threads should be showing for correct installation. Diagram:

Would one of you kind souls run out to the garage and let me know how many threads are showing on your bike?

Thanks in advance

ohhhhh....
Frankly I never touched this allen screw. A Ducati tech told me 3 years ago that this one is used to regulate some oil pressure and shoudn't be touched. I hope that somebody on the forum can clarify on this!

Yikes! Thanks for the info. I suspected it is an important part. I haven't started the bike, and I'll wait for clarification.
