Hello all,
I've had a Ducati 1098 Street Fighter for a few years now and have hardly ridden it. I put a bunch of new stuff on it when I bought it as it needed a clutch and some other stuff. I determined the sprague clutch was bad as well and put a new one in as well as a new lightened Nichols flywheel while I was in there. This hasn't solved my problem. It will fire up sometimes, but if it does it rarely starts again. I've put a new battery and starter as well. It seems to be binding when I go to start it. Sometimes the clutch spins smooth and with ease and others it seems to be stuck on something. I feel like if it would spin freely it would start fine. Any ideas I would appreciate it. I'm in Hawaii where the local Ducati dealer says they don't work on bikes 10 years old! Unreal.
