Here is the 2018 Ducati V4 Panigale

Looks more Supersport than Superbike.

Needs some more different colors to break up the podgy lines.

horrific aesthetics.

everything that was so beautiful about the pani has been utterly thrown out, from tail to nose.

this thing will go down as an abomination worse than the 999, and unlike the 999, it won't ever "grow" on you.

here's hoping the revamp it in a few years.

to date, the high point form and function-wise is the 1199SL.

I'm not understanding the detractors .

It's a fat panigale .

probably have a wet weight of 460 -when it comes out on the dyno that it only produces 185 rwhp the same people who have been saying its time for the death of the twin are going to be wondering how this happened.

this all started when ducati let the rice rocket crowd in .

echo what everyone here has said already. I'm sure (hope!) this pic is still a work in progress but if this is the new V4, then I'm very underwhelmed. The leap from 1198 to Panigale was brilliant. I'll be honest, my main reason for owning a Panigale is looks (because let's be honest, on the road we'll never use it to its full potential).

Ducati, Claudio - please read this thread. This bike looks rubbish and looks sell as much as/more than performance

I now understand why there is going to be a larger separation from the standard and S model to the R. The Std and S will have the egos of a street machine. The R model is supposed to be released a year later with much different look and chassis spec. Gone is the single side swingarm and this bloated body work.

The Pani is like seeing a super model in her prime, the V4 looks like the same super model, 15 years later after 3 kids.

first thing the came to mind is Honda CBR.

I am sure there'll be design tweaks. Please do something about the exhaust routing.

Fake! Really don't know why you guys keep regurgitating the same dake photos as if you uncovered some "super-spy" stuff. Someone posted the same photo here last week as well as "Asphalt and Rubber" Magazine. SMDH!
