Really wish they wouldn't have done that with the gas tank. The extended fairing to the gas tank is horrible. Hopefully the R model does not have this, more then likely it will. Clutch cover is the same as the motor video.
youve already got at least two people saying that this is IT (actually one senior member quoting a highly reliable source), and yet youre all still thinking up weird ..... wish i had even a fraction of a penny for every time someone falsely cried "photoshop". lol

Whatever "IT" means.... Until it's an official photo from Ducati saying THIS IS IT at the EICMA show, nothing is "IT". Don't base your judgement on a new bike based upon a crappy spy photo, regardless of whether it's a photo of a "real" prototype bike or if it's a pure photoshop, there is NO difference between those two. It's not "IT" until Ducati says it's "IT". Many people always want to jump the shark, which is really pointless.
im not sure what you mean by "its not "IT" until ducati says its "IT". look, all any of us can hope for at this point is a leaked pic of the real thing, which some of us believe is what we have here. so technically, if the "believers" are proved to be right, this bike is "IT", even without ducati saying so.
but i do agree with you in that we shouldnt judge anything based on a few photos. you have to see a bike in person before you can truly get an accurate indication as to whether you like it or not.
Why do you need to "believe" anything about an unofficial spy photo, that's my point. Back to the desire to jump the shark again, you don't need to do that. You can see spy photo and think "meh, it's a spy photo", you don't have to project your judgement of the actual, real-deal final bike to be revealed at EICMA based upon that. I would argue it's pointless to do that, what could you possibly gain by making judgements before then? I've never seen that work out, including when the 1199 Panigale came out in 2012.
The Pani is like seeing a super model in her prime, the V4 looks like the same super model, 15 years later after 3 kids.
I work in product marketing, as in, vehicles that are not due out till 2023 and beyond. Manufactures are not this careless to let pictures get out before an official launch, especially these well prepped pics. There's a good chance that what we see is an early version that they were still working on. Just keep that in mind.
Please Ducati don't extend that fairing on top of the fuel tank, it looks ugly as hell.
