Fake! Really don't know why you guys keep regurgitating the same dake photos as if you uncovered some "super-spy" stuff. Someone posted the same photo here last week as well as "Asphalt and Rubber" Magazine. SMDH!

I'm with you.

TJ99 has confirmed this to be the official bike. He used to work at the factory and was the project manager over a few models. Based on his word in the past, it's as good as gold.

The Aprilia has a V4 engine. As a respectable company, i assume they have considered all the engine placement configs, but yet it RSV4 looks like a Chubby grenade (if Panigale is the Supermodel).

So will the Panigale turn into Ana Nicole Smith, or stay Kate Upton?

Not sure who they are but I've liked even the ugly Duc lings so to speak.
749/999 and the front light on the later model 900ss, The tech bits will be there as usual so I will love it dearly even though I'll be sticking with my 90V

Agreed, ive always had a soft spot for most of the duc sport bikes and even though i wasnt sure what to expect with the new V4 im sure this thing will be looking proper with a 1199/1299 fairing conversion :D:D Hopefully the sound she makes will distract us enough

Guys, I am talking about the 2002 Ana Nicole Smith, not the 1992 version. Not sure if your soft spot has enough space for that.

Step away from the heroin needle. Better yet, ban yourself for a month...or two

If Ducati keeps the monocoque design with the V4, it will not look as big as the Aprilia, and it will be about 440 wet, 12 pounds more than the 1299.

We will see, I for once don't believe this is a spy shot of the real V4. For starters, if it's an actual preproduction, they don't let anyone get near it with a camera, and that picture is of a bike just sitting around.

Also, expect the new V4 to push at least 215HP, especially if it's a 1200. It would be costly to get a 1000cc up to 215HP, but not on a 1200.

Damn I gotta fix that thread title. Panigale out since 5 years and peeps still messing up that name

They're going to build a whole new bike... and use the same chicken foot wheels they've been using for 5-6 years??? Although I don't really mind the look of the chicken feet, using them on a brand new bike is just lazy.

Also fwiw, (not much) the bike itself isn't THAT bad. Plus it's a very low quality picture at a single not-so-great angle. Obviously not as pretty as most of us were expecting, but that doesn't make it ugly. If you want to see ugly, check out Suzuki's new gixxer. Nuff said.

Not only that, but like was brought out earlier, looks don't make the whole bike. I'm sure the technology and performance on this thing is going to be awesome. Not to mention the sound it makes.

Let's put our pitchforks away until we ride it, and it breaks down..

There is no way someone is going to just casually take that perspective photo with the driver staring at the camera holder and get away with it. That is a photoshop!

I was hoping for this...

It was supposed to be that! It was on the drawing board and the thieving MV blokes took a photo and pumped one out real quick (a design that is). No honour amunst thieves obviously.
The reason I know is I used to work in the industry and that's how it is. Believe it or not up you girls.

I think we all need to wait for the actual release... I personally think it'll look totally different than these shots, and performance wise will improve as well... too much riding on the line. Chaz is competitive and I think the wsbk project will push the envelope just as Gigi did with the GP
