i think he meant 11(99) compared to 12(99)
adaptive suspension for track bike no thanks.
This bike just obliterated resale values of 2012-2014 1199's. As if they weren't already dead. Dealers can't give away new 1199 leftovers for $5000 off msrp.
Be prepared to take a massive hit on resale.

Ah, but it's NOT adaptive suspension, that's the beauty of it! The HP4 has adaptive suspension. It sucks on the track because it's not consistent and predictable. The 1299S will have Ohlins semi-active "event based" suspension which means it will react only to the g-forces and lean angle, and NOT the actual movement of the suspension. This is the system that was being developed by Ohlins in MotoGP before it was outlawed because it was too effective!
So? It happens every time a new model comes out for any vehicle. We "pay to play", those of us that always want the latest/greatest
Thank you for clarifying that Jarel. Looks like it may be a 1299S for me than over the $34,000 Panigale R.
...no surprise on the WSBK rules. These racing sports are becoming boring with all the rules/restrictions. Bikes are so outdated to whats currently readily available its sad.
Yes, I do know the HP4 suspension is unpredictable and i don't like it. Besides, this HP4 scares the piss out of me.
