Hey Peeps,

Just ordered (yesterday) my Panigale S with reverse quick shifter. For various reasons I have gone for a July build but am already like a schoolboy in toyshop.

Looking forward to getting more involved once I get the bike, meanwhile will read and drool over the photos on here!

Hi Marc,

Welcome !

I am very new to Ducati's previously always had Yamaha. Could elaborate about why you getting the reverse quicker shifter. I have noted that many sites say that the reverse quick shifter is not compatible with the Ducati Rearsets, however the Ducati site says they are.

Thanks.

Over a period of approx 5 years I used to do approx 20 track days a year (UK and Europe) on a mix of Gixxer 750 and 1000 with reverse shift. I just prefer it, it feels more natural to me. On a practical level, it also means you do not have to hook your foot under the lever when exiting a left turn on the track and changing up. I have since lost my "speed" rush to really push it, but I still miss reverse shift. The last two 'blades I had (incl current), could not easily be converted, so I left them as standard.
