I'm Alex from Bakersfield CA. I had a 2009 848 I bought new and sold. Now I have an 1199 S w/ABS on order via Ducati Santa Barbara. They say I got the last slot on their first shipment. Carlin is my sales person. I'm also getting the Termi slip-ons w/ECU flash, rear paddock stand, and an outdoor cover for work.

I can't wait!!!!

How did you find the 848 and what mods?

I had initially ordered the same 1199 model as you, but flipped it to a Tric last week, as I couldn't resist its lure.

On my 848 I had:

Comp Werkes FE & Signal Relocator, Shift-Tech Carbon Rear Hugger, Ducati Perf Carbon Tank Protector, Ducati Perf Seat Cowl, Ducati Perf Smoked Windscreen, Ducati Corse BLK Clutch & Brake Reservoir Covers, 1" Blind Spot Mirrors, DDM 55W 6000K HID Hi-Beam, Red 4mm Wheel Stripes w/Color Marchesini Decal, Ducati Perf 14T-525 Front Sprocket, Fat Duc o2 Manipulator, Ohlins Steering Damper, 1198s Carbon Front Fender, 1198 Adjustable Height Adjuster.

That's just a quick copy and paste from another forums sig I had. I really liked the 848. I only sold it because when my dad died my mom needed the financial support, that was a little over a year ago. I was going to get and 848 EVO Corsa but once I watched the reviews on the 1199, I was sold.
