First of all hello to everyone. I had this website bookmarked on my computer for a while before I purchased my 2017 1299 Panigale (base model) at the end of last year and what a great source of information it is. My bike history goes back to 1992 and a Suzuki TS125X and a Yamaha TY250 Twin Shock, then a bit of a lay off on the bike front. After that ive had in order a Suzuki RGV250M, Kawasaki ZX6R, Ducati 748 Biposto, Honda CBR1000RR4 Fireblade, BMW K100RS 16V, Honda NC30, Kawasaki ZX10R E8F, Harley Davidson 1200C Sportster, Suzuki Hayabusa and now a 2017 base model Ducati 1299 Panigale. As far as modifications go on my 1299 ive only fitted Akrapovic cans and its running on S22's which are fantastic in my opinion. Anyway I thought it would be polite to say hello, so ride safe all
 
It looks like your 2nd duc? Great taste in choosing the 1299. I was drooling over them when I was test riding a few 959’s and couldn’t help myself. Welcome to the forum! I too am new (ish - been lurking for some time like yourself) and look forward to keeping this ducati encyclopedia active among many legends here

Hi, I had a huge, and I mean a life changing accident on my old ZX6R in 2000 where a truck pulled out on me without the driver looking, thank god for the Air Ambulance. Recovered from that and decided to get my dream bike which was a Ducati 748 Biposto (in yellow of couse). What a bike, but I did get tired of people telling me that one of my headlights had blown. Now to the 1299, she is lovely
