Hi guy's, I'm new to the forum and have to say that I have fallen in love with the 1199:)
I'm close to buying one but was on the fence between the BMW 1000rr and the Duc 1199, but the Pani is way sexier, sounds better, more leg room and just feels like your one with the bike even just sitting on them.
We still have snow on the ground and I have to decide which one I'm getting, either a (2012) 1199s or a 2013.

Anyway's I'm glad to be a part of this forum and look forward to my Pani and swapping questions and stories with you guys,,,,and gals ;)

Woohoo!! Another Canadian.

Whichever model year you get, you should have a good time with it!

That's all the info non-Canadians need to pass judgement:D

Yep, this pretty much sums it up for most Americans.

are you buying from argyll? i haven't talked to the new sales guy since i bought mine last year but i can say the rest of the guys are great to deal with, but bend over! they don't like giving out any discounts. and be sure to get everything in writing as they backed out of a few things when it came to pick up my bike and i had to kick up a fuss. ;)

Yes I was planning on purchasing from Argyle and they have been good to deal with so far, but then most people are good to deal with when they have something that your wanting to buy!! It's the customer service you get that matters after the purchase that is just as important, IMO. There saying that they won't move on the 2013's but are willing to knock off $1500 the 2012 s that they have on the floor but to me that doesn't seem like enough of a deal on something that's already a year old I'm probably going to lose less buying the 2013 at full sticker price, lol.

Welcome from another Canadian. The snow will be gone soon, in the mean time just ride around it.
