No! I never noticed, but I also have a TL1000R which cooked my crystal balls years ago, I must admit to being a little over the heat issue, its a motorcycle, has a high performance engine sitting right between ya legs... The TL runs just as hot, in the same way, cooking the same parts...
It doesn't get any warmer than Philip Island,40deg in full leathers, 12 laps in to a race... This heat shield, that heat shield... Come on guys, if ur waring shorts, or your pillion gets burnt because she is waring her jimmy choo's on the back on the way to the local Starbucks get on with it... Buy a different bike... Get ducati focused on the real issues like providing better base rear shocks, or improving the quality control in the factory...
Small manufacturers have limited resources, if the heat issue is no1 then what about the real issues like oil leaks and spring rates...
