Pit bull trailer restraint is second to none..... Don't muck around with anything else.
You will just need to choose what it's mounted to.
You can use a van, truck, enclosed trailer....
I have mine mounted to a 8 x 5 box trailer.

Yep, pitbull trailer restraint is the only way to transport a bike, no messing with tie downs, wheel chocks etc.

I've mounted the plate on my open trailer. You can get different pins for different bikes.

will cops be able to give you ticket for carrying thing past the tail gate?

I'm not gonna debate if there are laws against it in any of the 50 different states. But I've never been told or exposed to any laws. I mean I thought there were laws for people in the bed of a truck, but I see that all over in North Carolina, lol.
The shorter answer to your question, I do not know. But I've driven it this way for 15yrs(other vehicles included) and won't stop until there is a problem with it.

6x12 Trailer.

your answer is good enough! thanks

I think Soulrider wins so far - A/C and microwave, checkered flooring! :)

Absolutely not. No motor vehicle laws stating the tailgate of a pick up must be closed. Now if you lost your cargo (ouch) that would be "failure to properly secure load" motor vehicle infraction.

I just bought this for moving the Pani. It's a used Kendon 'single' trailer. Does anyone know if I can use the Pit-Bull restraint or the Strapless Transport stands with this? I'm not sure because of the existing front tire chock. Also it has a metal floor???

Any thoughts appreciated!

pitbull won't work as the back end is too narrow for the mounting plate.

Also, were you to use it, you'd need to put some steel plating welded to the frame where the plate would mount. I actually have one of those Loews open trailers with the mesh floor. I had a steel plate welded on the back end to enable mounting the pit bull plate and it's worked fine.

I love that kendon trailer.

If you have a 2" X 2" receiver, use a MotoTote - no extra taxes, tolls, etc. It will carry a lot heavier bike than a Panigale!

Toy hauler, perfect for racing, both bikes, ideal when ur driving 800 miles between tracks...
