How do you clean your wheels ?

Original Bike Spirits - Spray Cleaner & Polish. This stuff works great...no water required. Just spray on and wipe off. I use this on my wheels and on the painted underside of the tail section where grease also gets flung up. You won't be disappointed!

Here is a link Spray Cleaner & Polish

Bought a huge can of WD40. And a can of the Dupont chain saver. Gonna clean it up right tomorrow !

WD40 for me all the way. and just standard wax polish for the rest of the bodywork

after you clean the rims use wd-40 to clean the chain then use dupont teflon dry wax to protect the chain and never have that crappy lube flinging everywhere again:

Muc Off - degreaser, works a treat, biodegradable and then a quick wash after.

I use WD40 to clean the chain on a cloth but I'm wary of using it around greased hubs, rear brakes etc. It is a penetrating oil after all. There are places I don't want it to penetrate.

Ps I have a stainless range cooker and hood and WD 40 is the best thing to clean that though...mind you I don't do 145mph on the cooker!

I've always used a basic non-abrasive car wax and applicator on all my bikes with painted rims. Almost seems too easy, never had any discoloration or tarnishing, and grease / dirt seems to come off easier next time around.

Neighbors dog. I put a nice 'cookie treat' on the rim and the enzymes in the saliva cuts right the grime.

Ok, ok. I'm just kidding. But I'd like to ever since he lifted his leg on my GSXR a couple years back. Come to think of it the rims did clean up pretty easy. Hmmm.

I find a good cleaner/wax does the job just fine and leaves the wheels nice and shiny.

Petroleum, cheap and does the job :)
First thing i do on al my Ducs is clean the chain and apply Profi Dry Lube, no more greece all over and always a nice clean chain :)

Have you had a grudge against that dog for 2 years?? lol

Well keeping on the subject, i use TT maintainance spray, similar stuff to WD,soaked into a rag gets the grease off smartly. I use the Wurth dry chain lube, found its the least messy and looks invisible on chain. Only problem there is your chain always looks dry,so ya can"t tell whats going on. I recently tried the Putoline MX bike chain lube and chain looked moist and shiney. Big claims of no fling and ultimate protection for dirt bikes. Yeah:(no way, this stuff comes off the chain in clumps. I guess there aint many 180bhp dirt bikes out there.Avoid.

Actualyl Meguiar's EZ-CLean.

Best lube and degreaser is the Motorex Race stuff with PFTE.
