I have an RSV4 and i think the feel of the 1199 is smaller then the Aprilia, at least for me, it was like sitting on a ninja 250. I'm 6'2 220. I can't tuck well on the rsv4, neither so on the Duc.
Though I like how narrow it is. Rsv4 has a very wide seat . both of these bikes you can't scoot back in the seat as well as the japanese bikes. my knees were just past the front fairings.
Don't get me wrong, I love the 1199 but for me to justify the price I have to ride one before I buy to make sure, just sitting on it does not do it justice.
I do like the seating posture vs the 1098/1198. I rode my friends 1098 this summer and I found it was so killer on the wrists. More so then my Ape

RSV4 Size
I also have an RSV4F SE APRC (track day use only for now). I feel the 1199 will be quite similar in feel for me, I am 5'8" and 77Kg, fits me nicely. I have a friend who is over 6'6", when he sat on my RSV4 people took photos as he looked so strange on it, (looked like a 125 with him on it). I also feel that when I ride the 1199 I will have the same issue around town as I had with the RSV4 that is Seat Height. My inside leg is only 29.5" which means at junctions leaning the bike over slightly to touch the ground, small price to pay really. At least I won't have the clutch cable snap on me in the town, as I had with the RSV4, almost rear ended a car, (1199 is hydraulic).

Yeah Im surprised that Aprilia hasn't upgraded to hydraulic yet,, I mean the damn Hayabusa has one ffs lol
