I also received an email overnight saying mine had shipped.
if you go to
Support | Tuneboy and download the Mitsubishi ECU file (assuming you're doing this on a Panigale...), you'll unzip the package and find that there's a PDF in there with the how-to's for nearly everything. I don't however see anything about the fan setting in the manual, so see #2 for a down and dirty:
Q1) For the AF Ratio, you'll want to carefully read the manual in that zip file and study which tab in this window (from my previous paragraph) you'll want to adjust. Personally I'd recommend a getting someone to properly adjust this on a dyno as messing with these values blindly will likely not end well.
Q2) After unzipping that download from the website, open up the "TuneEdit_Mitsubishi.exe" file. Click OK on the prompts, then find the tune for your bike and open it. You'll see a red window open up, defaulting on the F1 tab. If you go up to Edit at the top, you'll see a "Thermo Fan" option in the drop down. If you click on that, you'll get a window that shows fan on and fan off settings. Note that this is in Celsius. Once set, you'll want to save that file (i'd recommend with a new name). That will be the file you flash when you get your kit. See below for which map to select before doing this step.
Q3) As for your question on the map for your full akra system, if you dig into the "Tunes" folder, then Ducati, then panigale 1299, you'll find a couple files (one for Tune only, the other for Tune and Cruise) that say "FullAkra" towards the end of the name. You'll want to use the one that directly relates to your purchase. If i recall, you said you bought the $399 AUD Tune only kit, so you'll want to use the file ending in "Tuning_FullAkra_V6_7tune.dat" file. These files are basically a "canned tune" that you would get from other tuning solutions like PowerCommander, BrenTuning, RapidBike, etc. It isn't guaranteed to make your bike run at 100% potential with that setup, but it should be much better than stock, or with only the upmap key. Again, you'll want to work with a tuning specialist on a dyno to set up a trim file for this map to get the most out of it.
