Where could I send all my matte carbon to get professionally cleared to have that gloss finish? Obviously I am not going ot buy all new carbon to match the wheels. Yeah man, I cant wait to see these and feel the huge weight difference!

Any professional spray painter can do it for you, it just becomes a bit harder if the finish is not spot on, on the original.

Honestly I think it is all up to the individual on the matt/gloss finish, but these rims do shine and the lightness is going to blow you away.......I bet Saturday is not close enough now with the wind up I have just given you:D
 
motowheels has the bst wheels available in matte carbon fibre as well as gloss.

Thats a negative Ghostrider. Motowheels does NOT have them in matte finish!
Called to confirm my order and they said no one has them right now.
 
What matt finish does is lose that 3D effect that comes with gloss and with a gloss lacquer finish you can enhance it even more. With the rims done in twill weave it really stands out.

Gunny Fitz, I think the Gloss Carbon wheels would look safe with the gloss heat shield of a full termi' manifold and the DP satin carbon parts.
 
hmmmmmmm, I'd have sworn it was motowheels that posted pics of the matte finish wheels. Oh well, honestly tho, I think the gloss finish look much better.

I was bitten with by the carbon bug two years ago, there are no support groups, there is no withdrawal period. you are just helpless to see your bike turn from a colored work of art into a full race menace:( first the key holder, then comes the upper fairing. before you know it you are buying bst's. then when your second bike comes along, you will also like to get the carbon fiber. and now that my Panigale is in order, I am already looking at carbon fiber parts:(

Lol.....so true, I was bitten by the carbon bug in 93, since then I have done up 5 bikes in Carbon for myself and countless others for friends.
This bike I pray will be the last because each time it gets more expensive.

There might be some of these available for the Pani.....Carbon Fibre Triple Clamps

I'm with you on preferring the gloss finish. I've just sold my satin hugger and will go to gloss finished CF, hopefully when Ilmberger get their's out
