So with all the people on here saying that the 1199 runs to hot, well I LOVE how hot it runs. This morning I had the pleasure of riding to work in 35*F weather, the bike even told me that there could of been ice out! No complaints here with how hot it runs! It kept nice and warm....well not warm but I was able to complete my 40 minute ride to work.

i hear ya. in the colder months, the built in seat warmer option is great, but wait until spring/summer as the seat warmer is stuck in the "ON" position. :(

I'm with ya. I've been riding so far as low at 23 F, and enjoy the heated seat (and hand warmer at lights). I also had it last summer, and the heat never really got to me. Thoguh still considering coating the pipes.

hahahahah.. this is a funny thread..

Yep.. I too have had the pleasure of utilising the seat warmer. Had to ride home one morning around 3am after work and it was pretty cold out, especially with the wind chill.

As for hot days? I'm wearing Draggin Jeans Next Gen, which are sort of think so the heat isn't such a problem.

I just road 35 minutes back home near DC in 34F temps. No heat problem to report, LOL

Had the pleasure of riding again this morning, but it was colder. If any of you are wondering why Im riding in cold weather its becuase I have no choice. My 2012 Jeep JKU is having the left head replaced, yea brand new...and my wife leaves at a different time then I. And it give me a reason to get the beautiful beast out! :D

Glad to see there are other polar riders out there with their Pani's!

Recently started plugging in my Gerbing's liner below 34'... Can go for an hour and a half or more easily. Buddy and I took a 150 mile ride just before Xmas and it was like riding in the springtime. Had to turn down the thermostat as I was literally cooking after a while.

I have no idea why peeps moan over the " heat " get over it lol...its great in the cooler months and hey its superbike for the road...live with it.....

What did you use for pants/gloves, and do you use a baklava of some type?
