I love my '15R!

That sounds amazing, especilaly blowing away other bikes down the straight at PIR..Have yet to get on track with my measly 1199S, but from what i have felt on the back roads it is one of the most inspiring bike to ride quickly on... I prefer it over my 2012 RSV4 factory.

2015 1199R is on my short list for another bike.

Cheers and keep the reports coming.

Every time one of us tries to one of the 14R owners cuts in to preach how it can't be a better bike because they are the same but mostly because they don't own one. When the reality is its a major improvement all over compared to our 14Rs.

I have not read that care to point it out .

What are you talking about? The quote you used says nothing of the sort.

PIR Friday, Ridge Saturday n Sunday....

Bravo Ducati! What a bike! I loved:

Seeing the speedo go blank at 185 on PIR's front straight...and still pulling!

Pulling R1's, my buddy's HP4, basically everybody on the straights...and having them stop by after the session to comment!

Matching an H2 (ok...that was T-Hill)...twice-

55 deg lean angle and playing with juuuust breaking the rear loose on the drive out

Powering out of corners with the front floating off the asphalt (while Brent's R1 would slam back down)

Blasting down the straights with the front floating...through 5th/6th gear

Blipping down so smoothly...automagically

The lustful comments in the pits (Don't really care...but it's a special bike!)

Riding the s$!# out of it, it's so much fun!

I love this bike!

good for you bro! rev that ..... up!! and enjoy!!

I had a great time watching MMC disappear into the distance at the Ridge this past weekend.

I was on my Triumph Street Triple so there was no opportunity to gauge my '13 R against the new R but frankly I'm confident that the '15 is a significant step up.

Write ups like this will cost some forum members here some money. You should write ads for Ducati. I always enjoy reading posts like this where the joy and emotion come thru. Its what it is all about.

Just reading this makes me want to go out and buy one as a track bike. At my age I would still come last though. But it would be fun. Thanks

I made this exact same comment to MMC via private message. My pockets could be a little light reading reports on the 2015 R.

I'm a sucker for "Newer, better, faster..." but I just can't imagine what a new model would add to the experience of riding this?

Famous last words....

Wait until Ducati gets the WSBK rules changed to allow the 1499R...:eek::eek:

Just keep watching MotoGP, that's where it all comes from....... but not your cup holder :D

Personally, I think its a race against time. It's more like a competition of 'let's see what we can put on the road, before they ban it' scenario.

I'm the same as you though with enjoying the new bikes etc., but I am very much in the mind set of the 2015 R is where I stop. I'm thinking instead of the next generation I'm going to stick with what I have and maybe add a monster or scrambler and make a start on a little collection.

Doesn't everyone Love Their 2015 R ? :D

More and more every time I ride it.

I'm especially fond of the jerkiness being gone and on and off throttle movements being so smooth compared to my 14R, even in the most aggressive mode. It's just easier to ride.
