I love my '15R!

Really confused as to whether to trade up my 1199s tricolore for the 15R tough decision.

its a no brainer.....the 2015R is just more of what you already have....more & more & more...:)

did we hit all of the bikes that are better than the ducati? lets see the hp4 / 15 s1000rr and the new r1. hmmm h2 now also? i guess nobody knows if the h2 is better as it never was compared. might as well say it all

the 15r is the best bike ever made on the planet. doesnt matter make or brand or what every comparison test says its the best.

must be chaz davies won 2 races in a row.

Weak sarcasm, are you still commenting dozens of posts per day on the Ducati forum because you still hate Ducati?

15' R - is it worth putting the Akra slip on for it in terms of performance and/or exhaust note?

wondering the same i already have a full akra system on my 13R just wondering if i should swap the system over.

I would for sure, especially with the price of the akra full system these days. And I'm not an expert but you get the most mid range with Akras system if I'm not mistaken, not that any of our bikes really need it. But let's be honest, can anyone ever have enough torq or hp? :D

That's what I figured, I will just switch out the slips

Great read thanks. But they said the new r comes with a full system akra, isn't it just slip ons?

Picked up my 15' R yesterday, the bike is f***ing phenomenal! From the handling to the light weight and power is just excellent! Seems night and day difference from my 14' 1199s. Love it! uploadfromtaptalk1439393888912.jpguploadfromtaptalk1439393931845.jpg

The bike is silly light! Especially, when I am setting up to lean it into a corner and my muscle memory remembers my 13 y/o, 480 lb RC51 or even my Hypermotard 1100S. Quite a few times, I have nearly been on the other side of the road because of it!

Another review I saw, not sure if its been up before.

2015 v 2013 Panigale R - ThrottleQuest

Cheers for putting up that link. It's a shame they didn't carry out the test at a more suited track as I think the article would have had more depth. Rockingham is small and bumpy and not all that well suited to the Panigale. It's still an entertaining day out until you stick it in the gravel! The gravel has plenty of depth anyhow!!!

Yes it comes with a full Akrapovic homologated system. The first sections of the headers are stainless with everything after that is ti.
