SuperGmoney,

The picture is of the new heat shield bracket for the latest full Termi system designed by Ducati Corse for the 2012 Superstock World Championship aka the lastest full Termi' system.

The original picture is taken from the 2013 Ducati Performance accessories catalog. I have attached yet another picture of the shield.

That's the same picture out of the 2012 catalog which I received in January 2012.

Think it was the original shield that could be used with the passenger pegs without modification. The final production is what we have now; with thin cut lines in the full shield for those wanting the full system and passenger pegs.

@shiftTech: thanks a lot for the info. Didn't know that.
are you planning to offer your carbon parts overseas (Germany) as well?
I used to order a couple of parts from you directly for my SF a while back, but the postage was so damn expensive.

Hi,

Where did you find the 2013 DP accessories catalogue online?!

Cheers

I dont think it's that bad, it looks like they molded it from the OEM heat shield.
the best one I've seen so far is the akrapovic, doubtful it will match D.P carbon.

Dont kid yourself Akra carbon is excellent,I wouldn"t hesitate buying some if any comes up for sale for the Pani. Friend of mine has got full Akra system on his RSV4 and the hanger bracket for the end can is carbon and absoluteley perfect/flawless. You need to grab hold of it to appreciate how strong and sturdy it is,its amazing.;)

MS-Production is in Slovenia, supplies Ducati Performance with products for the last 20 years. What you found on Google is MS-Production USA that has been replaced now by MS-Production North America who is located in Florida, just down the street from us:), they are the importer for the USA and we know them very well. MS-Production produces the guard in Slovenia and is the sole supplier for it, no other German did apply carbon:). Ilmberger get's supplied with it's products from MS-Production in Slovenia.

MS-Productions sister company is Sicom, the company that makes the carbon/ceramic brakes. All the carbon and the brakes are all done in Slovenia by one and the same company.

They are trying to get the finish to look better, once they do have it perfected then we will also offer them.

Here pic on our Project Bike, where we tested it.

ShiftTech is 1oo% correct. Check out my pics below. Just got my Ilmburger hugger today. It came in a rather large helmet style carry bag for extra protection,so thats useful,or you could save it for the parents sack race at your kids school sports day:D Any way the pics are self explanatory. I picked off the yellow label and found the evidence underneath. I could have actually got a DP hugger a bit cheaper. never mind, you live and learn.

Very Interesting

Been conducting a serious amount of inquiries on carbon lately and didnt know a thing about Ilmberger until last week. Like the soft bag touch it comes in!

I tell you what. Have found a few companies offering me some deals who seem a bit shady and too good to be true. I will say this, Guido from Shift Tech is a true wealth of knowledge and has been extremely helpful in sorting all this info out regarding CF and their origin. Many thanks to him! :D

As it is right now I am having a delay finding my nice glossy carbon as it's backordered. CDT tops the list for me, but I do like the way this exhaust guard engulfs the entire pipe. Yes that CCC plate needs to go elsewhere or be removed! :D

Here are a few items I find "different" and intriguing.

Ilmberger Shock Absorber Cover (small Version) Carbon - Ducati 1199 Panigale

Ragno Racing Carbon Solid Shock Absorber Guard Ducati Panigale 1199

Mostly these! :D

Shift-Tech Carbon - ST445 SICOM DMC 1199 PANIGALE ROTOR SET R&L SIDE

Theres a whole other post that covers all of this along with an official copy of the email i got the other day that i posted. Go look there
