I was out on the Rimini riviera at the first WORLD DUCATI WEEK in 4 years. I'll get around to sharing some vids and write up. For now I'll just say imagine something like Burning Man with extreme hooligan motorcycles yet at beach resort towns and the Misano Race Track for 4 days, & all night. We were busy doing this not thinking about how much tires cost.
Side story: On track at Misano testing the 4VS '22 with a DRE instructor who was leading me ballz out after we got past a slower group. Dipping into 'Curvone,' a huge right sweeper after the back straight you take in 5th on the gas hard around 150-160 mph. I was going in a little wider on DRE-boy's wheel who was about to elbow down on the stripes when two asshats in pro D Corsa gear blow inside, gives a nudge to DRE by the elbow on the 6" of tarmac between him and the grass. A little wave and they keep going. We stay in sight of them but they're ........ fast. I saw a #22 and #0...something. Thinking, " 'TseriousF was that?"
Checkered flag, session over. We park, chatting whatever. I look over, there's Claudio Domenicali in leathers. He sees me I see him, we say hi nice to see you again and all that. Then the light goes on. He goes, "Ah that was you we passed at the end ahha aahaaa." I see his numbers "00" We have a laugh I tell him I thought he was Dovi I just saw "0..." He informs me:
"No, no, I'm 00. 00 goes before all the other numbers." 00 gets the precedence. ...... is ballz fast.
