Just got my clear clutch cover from BellissiMoto and had a question. Is this as stright forward as it seems. Just take off the cover and replace the parts or is there something else im missing like oil dripping all over and parts flying out:) Thanks SPM

It is a wet clutch so some oil may drip. Not a lot should come out and perhaps hardly any if the bike has sat a little. Too be safe, I would place a clean oil pan and reuse any oil that comes out or just buy some beforehand.

By the way no parts will fly out. Just make sure you reuse the gasket if the new cover did not come with one.

No oil will drip if on the sidestand. The only thing you have to worry about is the thin o-ring that you'll need to carefully remove from the stock cover. Use an o-ring pick, or a needle or (as I did) a very small hex key wrench.

Once that's out, you'll insert it into the new cover. Press it in at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 oclock positions, then press it in in between 12 and 3, 3 and 6, etc., and then press it in the rest of the way. If you press it in at 12 and then try to work your way around, you'll stretch the o-ring and have a good 2" of it at the end that won't push in.

All of the bolts to the cover are the same size, fyi. And you don't have to remove the fairing, just the closest bolts to the cover.

Thanks guys, I got it on and looks pretty good. The colored peice that is bolted on the inside with 3 bolts was interesting. I slowly unscrewed it a little on each bolt. then put the custom colored peice on and slowly screwed it in with no problems. When i get everything done ill post some pics. Thanks again Now Im trying to figure out how to install my rizoma throttle side grip. Im lost hopefully someone on here installed one? SPM

Unfortunately, you cannot install a Rizoma grip on the throttle side as they come with the throttle tube inserted in the grip. They are meant for cable controlled throttles and not for the ride by wires on Panis. Not sure if Rizoma is developing one for the Pani or not.

Wait.... you did that in your living room?!? Or holy-...., that's a nice garage. :)

Is that a rear facing camera? Damn, that's actually a pretty cool idea. Sans mirrors, right?

No, not the living room my wife would kill me:) Its a office converted into Ducati garage in the rough Ohio winters. Ill be moving her out later today. Cant wait to fire it up. I dont know what sans mirrors are? SPM

SAN=without :p

For anyone that has installed a clear Ducabike clutch cover, did yours fog up this bad. It almost looks kinda "milky". The bike has 570 miles on it and its been sitting for a little over a week waiting on a few upgraded parts. Is it just oil and condensation? Should I be concerned? It's actually going for its first service next tuesday.

Completely normal. I had this on my white S, then put a new one on my R and it did it. Goes away after some riding. Just condensation. Next time you're rolling down a traffic free highway take a look at how purdy it is. :D

Mark NY also has it on his bike and it did it. Don't worry about it. It depends on many factors how bad it is- humidity, direct sunlight, hot engine, etc etc.

Thanks man, its been on for a about 3 weeks now and its never fogged up or anything. Then it sat a little over a week and when I started it tonight, thats what I got.

Good to know its not anything serious.
