Insurance for 1199

Hi guys,
Not sure what people are paying but in Melbourne, Australia I have been quoted $2340 - $2998! This is a f*king ripoff. Price for the Tri here is $42000. A car for the same price insured is about $400-$600.

yeh im from melborne too, got the standard on order which costs the same as tric in the usa. my insurance quotes are about 3.5k - 4k with RACV or AAMI, im also 25 years old so the system thinks they have the right to screw me.

That was really high. Is that amount are you really paying? I think it is too much. There expensive car insurances but not that much compared to yours.

Got a quote from foremost with multibike discount and coverages as listed earlier with 1k deductible, $550/yr
