Insurance premium, what do you pay?

GEICO and Progressive through the roof in most states, even if insuring an auto also. State Farm works well in TX. Around $500/6mos for 1299S. My agent also gtd my Duc will get to a currently licensed repair facility. Most companies will just have your Duc towed to the nearest grease shop, so they can strip out all the screws and lose your washers.

I'll find the nearest UHaul and rent a truck and trailer before some idiot insurance agent tells me the V4S is going to the nearest grease monkey.

that’s funny, but definitely same here.

I have been toying with the idea of mounting the pitbull trailer restraint system in my Honda Odyssey to travel around with my bike. Might try n make it happen after quarantine

the bike will fit in an odyssey? Would’ve never guessed. Lol. I have to imagine it being a huge PIA to get in/out.

I used to transport my GSXR in my parents mini van back in the day.

I would loosen my triple clamps and slide the front down and just roll it in straight up!

Haha it’s a shame getting the windscreen off these bikes is a big challenge but I don’t want the bike exposed to the elements especially being rear ended:

Geico 1600/year 25/50k Bodily, 20k Property, 0 Uninsured, 1k deductible. Cheapest I could find in Nevada.

thats not bad. Just spoke to insurance yesterday.
3 bikes: 1299, PV4 and Daytona 675
all $100 deductible, best insurance available with roadside and new bike replacement for the V4
$2,300 all said and done

Not bad for full replacement. Geico's price with replacement would almost triple the yearly cost for me. Mind you I'm 32 and haven't had any accidents or tickets in over 15 years. I need to definitely search around. I have double gap coverage's so I should be good.

You’ll be good. Geico quoted me 10,800... I was like oh maybe I won’t be buying a motorcycle. But then the rest of the companies were a lot less. Dairyland has been absolutely excellent

Might have to check with Dairyland. Have you had a insurance claim with them ever? to see what run around they might have.

Yup, 1 week after I bought my 2013 street triple 675R, brand new, I got stuck in a trench in the center of the lane and the bike went right down.
around $5500 in repairs at the dealer. They paid out no problem.
Next year my premium went down $20.
My insurance agent is exceptional, idk if he can do anything other than Pennsylvania but it’s
