$980 a year for all the bikes with $100k/$100k/$250k insurance

Allstate

2015 Monster 821 and 2021 V2, full coverage on both, $250 deduct on 821 and $1k on V2. My total premium is $886/yr combined with Geico.

Geico was always horrible.... It sounds like it lowered its rates?

I stand by claim that AAA and State Farm are the best. They both have good reputations for being cheap and for paying claims.

So dumb that State Farm doesn't operate in Rhode Island

You guys in the states are so lucky for your insurance.

Here in BC I pay $3000 a year for my cars insurance and an additional $2500 for 6 months of insurance on my V4

Yikes.

I wouldn't even bother owning a bike and would just drive a cheap ass car. Almost 500 a month wasted.

Mine has dropped to 625/yr total for both bikes since my last post on this thread. Still geico with same limits and deductibles

43, no tickets, expensive ass l.a. county

€1700 a year for 2 bikes. One in the US has full coverage. The one in the EU has slightly less than full coverage. It's fuzzier in the EU after covid. I can no longer find full everything coverage. I pay €700 extra for track insurance does not cover racing. Another €70 covers all family members on 2 wheels for all medical including time off work and compensation for missed salary etc. That's insanely good.
I had " medical air transportation" ins. in California for $24 a year covering any and all air ambulance from initial airlift to hospital transfer by air. eg: you're in Tahoe, you get airlifted to an ER in Tahoe. They stabilize then fly you to SF General. Without insurance, plan on selling your house.
If you're in Nor Cal, just get it.

State Farm at $1527/yr for six motorcycles (3 Ducatis, two Hondas, and a Yamaha) and a Kendon trailer. Full coverage and $250/$100 deductibles.

This question gets raised from time-to-time and the consensus is that AAA and State Farm are the cheapest in California.

Just called AAA in Rhode Island for a quote. Apparently the AAA here insures through Progressive.

It was like $136/month for minimum plus collision ($1000 deductible) and comprehensive ($1000 deductible). All for an 899.

Allstate
$1758/yr $100k/$300k $250 deductible (5 bikes total)

Damn, when I price out those values for Allstate I get $1,444/yr...for one bike...

Yes. Allstate is usually one of the more expensive companies in general. At least in los angeles county. Don't know where you're located but I got similar quotes with no incidents, 20yrs of riding, 43yrs old. State farm even wanted over 1k for my 2 bikes for a 6 month policy so over 2k per year. I think auto insurance is probably the most unpredictable and no sense makin things in life. Part of me thinks they just make .... up from company to company with no actual baseline to base quotes off of.
