Thanks Jeff, when I heard of what Ducati was doing by means of the Panigale I hoped it would be worthy. From what we have seen & some comments on here, it's not without that same doubt. I understand there is perhaps a mountain of experience on this site but not even the factory can clear the issue. The motogp bike did not go through corners & the engineers are maybe the same team. It was too rigid, with its air box come monocoque design. Now I see things very differently to others & sometimes my resolution is strange to others but what I may say will cost you nothing. I think it is in the fundamentals between engine mass inertia, wheelbase / swing arm & tyre size ! Remember the old 999 ? Two seasons & they flogged the case's out. The bike has so many adjustments but still it misbehave's. So here is an experiment that won't cost a sh@tload of money. If the old 195 section slick tyre is still available or the gods of speed forgive ? A sticky 190 section ! Give it a go. Nearly all of the crash's I've seen, it was the front being "pushed" by the rear.
