Guys , wondering if my tire is up for a change now or not.... i have about 5k miles on them but they're not hard ridden miles at all. I'm a casual rider.

I'm used to judging a tire by looking at the tread groove and seeing how the tread pattern is still deep I thought the tire was still good. this will be the bikes first tire change so I wasn't sure with these Supercorsa tires...... should I stick with OEM ?

They are great tires, so may as well

Not many corners where you live. They are brand new on the sides.

You can throw just about anything on there with a hard compound in the center. that fits

3 years old and your first tire change? Damn...

I only ride on the weekend and if i'm free and weather is nice and also take out 2 other bikes i rotate through.... so not as many rides as someone riding this few times a week.

I love the Rosso Corsa, as an all around tyre, with enough to center longevity for my commute, but also with enough side grip for seriously rampant weekend rides and maybe an occasional track day, but it seems like you would be better served by going to an even harder center compound than the Diablo Rosso Corsa.

On the other hand, if you got three years out of that tyre, then maybe it would be fine and last yu another three years. The Metzeler is also getting great reviews, so maybe try that.

Cheers.
