Is no one riding their bike?

Part of those people I'm sure are simply upgrading to the latest n greatest. The others may just be new to Ducati (like myself) and have never gotten used to the Ducati quirks which was not an issue on Japanese bikes so they're goin back to another manufacturer.
I agree, The Panigale attracted a lot of people and lots of them could not get used to it. Ducati Superbike is not for everyone. Narrow focused, not a great "around town" bike compared to the other liter bikes.(CBR comfy, S1000 comfy, R1 comfy, Zx10 similar to 1199,GSXR comfy.) In my opinion(9k miles on my 2012 S) above 100mph-Best sport bike on the planet. Under 100 mph, probably the worst.:D

Could the low mileage bikes be the result of the dealer replacing the display?

I'm about to take delivery of a left over new '13 model. Since I have Thunderhill, Infineon and Laguna as well as some of the best canyons in my neighborhood, I'm going to be riding mine a lot.

Not sure what you mean by weird ... clutch (no longer dry) .

I meant I had a hard time finding the point where it engaged from a stop .. Smoothly...I stalled it a couple times. (It just needed more throttle) the clutch lever could have been adjusted closer to my liking as well.

I ride my bikes too much!!!

Every spare moment off I go to blast away the cobwebs!
My multi 1100 from new I out 32500 miles on him in 20 months. My 2011 multi 1200 25000 in 30 months ran the panigale 1199 along side it and out 4000mikes on it in 10 months but also put 2500 on a new tenerre 1200 whilst I had the Panigale. So, yep some of us are riding our bikes.
As for those who don't, unless they have a legitimate excuse I think the bikes should be taken off them and given to thd Duchess until they come to their senses and apologise profusely:)

The winter generally puts a stop to my riding but I have 5300 miles on my '13 Base since I got her in May.

Just about to hit 15K mi on mine since June 2012, but it's usually had company in the garage so not my only ride for most of the time. Ran into a guy at Deal's Gap earlier this month on a nice Guzzi Stelvio who was shocked to hear I had that many miles on it. Said he'd never, ever heard of anyone putting that many miles on a Ducati! Thought it was kind of funny; I figure it's just now getting broken in. Which is what I'll probably feel like after ponying up for the 15K service... ;)

2100mi on my 13' R... I'm going to second one of the previous responses stating that I don't ride as much do to my work schedule, travel, going out with my girl (no backseat), and fear of having it tampered with or stolen. A lot of my friends that used to ride have either sold their bikes or ride Harley's now. The one person that I do know with a Duc is a chick and even though she's super cool and rides her bike daily she's soooooooooo slow. I don't know about you guys but my cruising speed on the freeway is 75-90mph, she likes to go 65-70... I hate being next to a bunch of cars on the freeway.
