Hi,

Got a question concerning restoring an ecu to oem after installation of the Ducati upmap which comes with the termi slip on system. Is there such a thing as a down map and where can I get hold of it? I have a opportunity to get a termi slip on but the owner wants to restore their Ecu back to standard and fit the standard mufflers.

No such thing. Upmap is nothing more than the name of the usb stick that unlocks a map on your bike. You need the same upmap stick to reverse the process and put things back to factory. This method does not apply to 1299. Only 1199. 1299 method is done by the dealer only and is not reuseable like it is on the 1199.

Does it have to be the same USB stick or any used up map USB stick? The guy can't find the original or maybe he lost it. The dealer reckons that they need the original up usb stick to restore the ECU to standard.

Yes, must be the exact same stick, only the code on that used stick has the correct reverse info
