I was never a fan of Lorenzo, but he is one of the "Aliens" so that's good.

Bad move in my opinion, except for the money he's probably getting for the move. His riding style doesn't fit the Ducati but he will learn the hard way. I also think he wants to move away from Rossi since Vali signed for a couple more years. Even though Lorenzo is the champion, Rossi is still the #1 rider for Yamaha I bet.
Spoken like a true Rossi fan.

I hate this move..Although it makes perfect sense for Ducati..and obviously Jlo knows Yamaha factory team is Rossi's team and... until he retires... that will never change. JLo's metronomic riding style is boring and brings no excitement to me... But as I say for Ducati it makes sense World champion... Consistent... Hates Rossi... many factors...
I hate this move as well. He is boring and a real ....... I love seeing the little crowd of fans he has. Looks pathetic compared to Vale. Sad day to have him representing Ducati. I am sure if he doesn't win he will blame it all on them and take no responsibility.
I also always disliked JLo, he is good on a right bike though. Nobody wins MotoGP races by mistake nor be a three time champion. But still, I feel disappointed that this lollipop sucking whining champion is now hired.
Sure, Ducati needs to be a champion and neither of Andrea's has the pace nor the consistency to do that. BUT JLo is 29, he needs a pension package since I serously doubt that he has the fire to do another 10 years in MotoGP.

i would've loved to the see the other way around, Rossi going to Ducati for a 2nd sting, and JLo staying at Yamaha. But that's not real, especially Stoner's a brand ambassador and test rider.
Like to see a Ducati win some races. Let's wait and see if JLo can adapt, he's been riding that buttery smooth M1 for 8 years now.
Vinales should stay with Suzuki and progress, they'll love him. Get some new blood from Moto2, or get Jonathan Rea for Yamaha alongside Rossi.

Lorenzo is an amazing athlete and rider, I'm happy to see this move because he has to much pride take 2nd ... fiddle to Rossi or Delissioso…I expect to see mega trash talk this yea and next

Rossi's approach with Ducati was all wrong, he and Burgess thought it was just quick fix and all it took was a wave of the magic wand, especially given that Stoner won in Aragon toward the end of the season. He probably thought if Stoner can do, he can do it better.
JLO going to Ducati knowing that he walked around from the best bike to take on the underdog role. I think he can do well.
I used to like Jorge, planting the flag, the dive in the pool, not to mention the spectacular high sides, he was fun to watch. But since Marquez joined the circus, he's like a grumpy old man.
