Not a fan of Lorenzo's personality but it could be the answer for Ducati to bring home a championship. Look at how well Dovi has been doing (despite the crashes) and been pretty quick and consistent. Maybe JLo has the extra talent to put it on top.

Second vote from me for Maverick Vinales to take the ride alongside Rossi.

It will be interesting to see how Lorenzo adapts to the Ducati, his style is all about being smooth and based on his 125/250 style. Guess we will find out next year.

???? He will be lucky to stay in MotoGP if you ask me. He should have done Moto 2 to improve his race craft (which is somewhat lacking) instead of going directly to MotoGP...

Vinales to Yamaha, then i like to see Pedrosa taking a ride on the Suzuki, the friendier chasis can help him. The bike is almost competitive

Now I am going to have to start rooting for Lorenzo because he's on my brand, oh well it happened with Vettle when he switched to Ferrari.

The difference being that Vettel has always been one of the most likeable and mature personalities on the grid. Only now are most people realizing that following his domination years with Red Bull. He's been the best man in F1 since he first sat in a Toro Rosso.

Lorenzo has always been an odd personality, and probably always will be.

Lorenzo has always been an odd personality, and probably always will be.

To me, he is a classic case of a guy who tries too hard to be cool. Not insecure of his riding ability obviously but he has a insecure personality.

I tried to like him but he is just a little punk.

But I am very interested to see how he does on Ducati

I wouldn't disagree about his race craft needing to improve, but he is pushing hard.

Plus he is an Aussie and they are quick learners

It is a real shame that kid was rushed to moto gp instead of doing do diligence and taking the steps properly and being allowed to develop his considerable talent. There are no shortcuts in racing, only shortened careers or lives.

love this move by jorge. watching the ducatisti cry is hilarious as they try to claim rossi is better hahahahahaha. who the ducatisti should be supporting is casey stoner. THe only man ever to win a championship on ducati (motogp i know somebody will say what about bayliss or carlos) stoner made the 07 bike and he is making the 16 and 17 bike too. he is a second faster than anybody on the ducati right now. (not racing but still neither andreas can do it not racing so why bring that up).

now if Philip Morris can put together some more coin maybe we can have a stoner lorenzo team or dare i say a lorenzo marquez team.

you cant be remotley serious with this statement and betting would lose you your money. rossi wasnt number 1 after 2010 season. he went to ducati because yamaha was cutting his pay and he didnt want to be number 2 status. watch hitting the apex or read a book. rossi thought ducati would be easy only to find out and say i dont know how casey rode the bike so fast.

rossi is done deal with it. the fat lady is singing.

I think he meant Yamaha looked at it that way.. They signed Rossi way early before Jlo could enough think..

Gigi is making the bike better, not stoner. Second, practice laps are different than race laps. I don't believe Stoner is faster than either of the Andreas until I see it in a race with 20+ other riders.

Then why can't either andreas match stoners times in practice? The edition of road racing world with rossi on the cover said and I quote the Aussie is managing to surpass full time ducati riders iannone and Dovisioso with his speed. Ljuice he's faster than both of them. If he wasn't they would be faster in testing than stoner they aren't. I agree a race maybe different but the speed is there which neither rider can accomplish.
