Had mine done too

Made a big difference last summer and I am using the "old" carbon fiber heat shield with my termi's and don't have any of the newer heat shielding.

After the bike was broken in and with this done, I honestly don't even notice the heat anymore.....

I would recommend this to everyone that has any issues with the heat.

I added the Thermal Tech shielding underneath my seat a long time ago and no problem with seat heat even with the lower profile 899 seat that I installed.

I ceramic coat mine almost 2 yrs ago and it still looks brand new.
