"have to disagree with you on that. rossi and more importantly burgess said they can fix the ducati in 30 seconds till rossi got on stoners bike after valencia and was 3 seconds slower then stoner."
Dude, honestly this is the 3rd time I have corrected you on your absolute crazy stats...
November 11, 2010 - Valenica post session testing:
Rossi fastest lap 1'33.761
November 06, 2010 - Qualifying Practice - qualifying set-up, all out
Stoner pole lap: 1'31.799
That is slightly less than 2 seconds a lap faster.. and more importantly it is a guy on a brand new bike riding it for the first time against an extremely talented riders pole lap after a weekend of setup on qualifying tires.
I'm sorry, but your stats are ....... wrong.
Let's move on to race day.
November 7, 2010
Warmup practice:
Casey Stoner: 1'33.247
Slightly more than a half second faster... hmmm reality setting in yet on your ........?
And finally the race:
Fastest lap:
Casey Stoner: 1'33.018
Dani Pedrosa (fastest total) 1'29.914
So, while you repeatedly the made up number of 3 seconds, you have to compare a qualifying lap to practice to arrive at a difference of under 2 seconds. In practice, Stoner managed 1 lap that was .5 seconds faster than Rossi's, and in the race, he was .7 seconds faster in the draft..
These are the facts, period..
