Hi all,
I have been riding since 2006, and this is my 4th Ducati. I just joined the forum on my newly acquired 2015 1299 S. I traded in my 1198 for this beast, even though I miss my old bike but the new one is certainly a nice upgrade by far. Looking forward to get to know everyone!

welcome!
How do you find the ergonomics of the 1299 vs the 1198?

my 848 shared the same chassis with the 1198 and it was fun but a painful bike after an hour. i find my 1299 much more comfy

Howdy and welcome.

I also have the 1299 S, it's coming along nicely for me. Won't be long before I have her perfect...

@Ductape: I only rode home from the Batley dealer, but the first impression was the ridding position is much better than the 1198. It felt like I was ridding a Monster, until the heat kicked in and I was in traffic. I was really uncomfortable from putting all the weight on my wrists, after letting my legs loose from the bike to avoid the heat.

@mrailing: what kinds of mods do you have on the bike? So far I only got the Termis slip-on, Competition Werkes fender eliminator, Ducabike levers, Oberon clutch slave and the T-rex cluctch cover protector coming from Motowheels. I will post pictures when they are installed.
@mrailing: Never mind I found you post of mods. You raised it to another level :)

@all: Thank you for all the welcome.
