Hey guys did anyone get a key card with their bike?

My dealer changed the dash today (the first one they've done) but then rang me asking for the key card. I said I had never seen one, just a spare key. They then asked around at the dealer and neither the techs or the sales people could recall seeing one. So now we are waiting on someone from Ducati Australia (Frasers) to tell them what to do!

Does anyone else have this mystical key card or a similar experience when replacing the dash?

hey how long where you waiting for your dash? i see your in perth i am guessing you use frasers?

You know that's funny you mention that.... On my 848 I did have a keycard and on this one I haven't received anything. Does this model not include it?

Is that the card that Ducati NA sent to me with the bike and owner info?

The card they are speaking of is your VISA card...

Kaido - ordered about 10 days ago,yes I use Frasers

Mundman - no, I have that one, apparently not it!

Germcati - correct that's what they were looking for before they realised they had never seen one for a Panigale.

Will report back tomorrow when I've heard more.

Earlier bikes, like my streetfighter came with a key card, far as I know the 1199 didn't come with one.

Nope. No key card here. Only thing I can think off is the 4 digit pin for the dash if your key fob stops working or the little plate that came on the key ring with your keys.....

I was told the NA Panigales do not come with key cards... I didn't get one when I asked the Dealer.. unless someone from here, has actually gotten one.. and I mean in the US

Wow i must be doing something wrong it has now been 5/6 weeks since they so called order my dash in for me

Have you got a Base or an S/Tri? Sounded like they only had the dash for the S in.

I just got mine replaced today under warranty after approx 3 weeks waiting for a new dash, I was'nt given a card and I think the Dealer used the little "ZADI" tag ID number on the spare black key ring. Once the original dash warmed up the R/H indicators (front and rear) and the horn would'nt work and trip meter 1 would'nt reset until it cooled down again but no probs now. Once the new dash was installed all of the system settings were lost including the odometer so would I suggest recording the DES settings. Just trying to help is all.

No card with mine here in Australia either but (touch wood) no probs with my dash as yet!
I do have that little Zadi tag on the spare key though. I had no idea it could be so important!

Sorry forgot to post back. They apparently worked out how to access the code from their database so it sounds like that little black tag is just for the key not the dash. Anyway they sorted it out!

The card they mention is the red card that you should have gotten in the mail from Ducati NA. It looks like a credit card. It has the road side assistance number on the back side and a 4 digit number in the upper right hand corner. Do not lose this card. If you ever lose your keys you will need this card. No card and you are looking at new keys, new lock, new CPU and a very light wallet.

I was at my local delaer last weekend getting a comfort seat and gave them this card when inquiring about any updates that my bike may need. They told me what the card was all about and now, instead of carrying it in my wallet, I have put it in my safe.

Strange because they told me that they didn't need it to reset my dash so never even showed it to them. Keys might be different.
