Hey all, strange issue popped up for me during my last trackday, my lap data wouldn't clear or save new laps! It would act like it was working, say i erased the data, it would go away, but as soon as i turned the power off and on again, the same set of data would come back!
I think i might know the issue but wanted to see if anyone else was familiar. I installed an apex ignition relocate system which moves the ignition with key permanently attached under the fairing. I'm thinking because the key is never truely disconnected, the system won't save changes but that's kind of odd. Anybody know if this is how the ducati display operates?

I erase mine every session, just before I ride. Bike ign is not turned off again until
after the session is complete. Never failed to clear.

Hmm, let me give that a try. What was also weird was the new laps never recorded. Even if the limit of 30 laps were already stored in the system, I thought new ones would begin to overwrite them.

Yes, they do overwrite as far as I'm aware, once the 30 laps is reached.

So I finally got another chance to test the lap function. Here's the outcome;

1- turn on power, see old lap history and clear it.

2- perform a few laps, pull in

3- still haven't turned off the power, check lap history, all the new laps are there

4- turn off power

5- turn power back on, new lap history gone, old lap history originally cleared is back.

...odd. It must have something to do with not removing the key. As i mentioned, i have the apex ignition relocate which basically keeps the key in at all times.
