Hello,

does anyone have a photo of the panigale (S version) with the parking LEDs turned on?
According to the manual they are switched on by turning the key from "on" to "off" and then pressing the upper menu button (above the indicator switch) for three seconds. I'm just curious about how visible the bike is when parked and of course how it looks.
I would really appreciate it if someone could post a picture of the front.

Thanks
Mike

Be interesting to see how long the battery would last, too with them on!

Thanks mrmaloo32,

in the German manual it is the upper button, but thank you very much for the information.
Maybe Ducati uses the lower button only in Australia ;-).

The Parking lights are supposed to stay on as long as the battery voltage is above 11,7 V.
Again this information is only from the manual.

The power consuption of the Parking LEDs is:

Rear: REBEL LXM2-PH01-0060
2 X 1,61 W (700 mA at 2,3 V) = 3,22 W

Front: OSRAM LW G6SP-EAFA-JK
8 X 1,075 W (Power rating according to LW G6SP-EAFA-JKQL-1-Z - LED TOPLED ADV PWR WHT 6PLCC + datasheet - Page 2) = 8,6 W

This equals in a total power consumption of 11,82 W.

The battery is a 12V 6.5 Ah resulting in a capacity of 78 Wh.

Therefore the parking lights could stay on for about 6,59 hours (don't know what end voltage the battery would have in this case!)

But I assume that the power ratings of the leds are the maximum ratings and they will probably have a lower power consumption while used as parking lights. (at least that's what I hope!)

In case some of the above information might not be correct, please feel free to correct me!

It's only the small strip at the bottom that comes on. They're on the base too.

I'm going to bump this thread as I haven't seen any pictures yet.
Does anyone have pics of the front with activated parking lights?

Thanks a lot
mike

Sorry about the poor back lighting, but here they are on my base. When you first turn the key on these are all that light up until you start the bike then the headlights come on. After you turn the key off, hold the upper menu button for 3 seconds and they stay on until you either run the battery down to a certain level (11.7V) or turn the ignition on.

Thank you very much to both of you for the pictures!!

Mrmaloo32 I really don't know why you have to hold the lower button instead of the upper. Did you take a look in your manual? Maybe the Australian version has a different button setup...

just checked my book and it says button 5 which is the top button
but it dont work, i need to push the bottom button
not a problem but if others try to use park and dont work at least they can try that to
cheers

Bottom button on mine too.
I thought I remembered seeing the eyebrows lit up in pics in magazines.?. That's what I was hoping for when using the park lights. Seems like its the same LEDs just at a more dim setting. I'm a little disappointed that there's no way to turn on the eyebrows, or is there?

I haven't tried the bottom button on mine yet, but the top one certainly doesn't work.

Bump

Ha Found it, pretty cool. Funny how when i google the question, this forum of all pops up!

Awesome, thank you. I would have never known. One question though: how do you turn it off, lol?
