Anyone know what this red gunge is?
I'm cleaned it off once already and it's back again, looks like it's coming out that hex grub screw?

what year is the bike and what kind??? i had this problem, went to the dealer they switched out the hose clamps

Thats agip coolant. It is pink.
Dries slightly darker when boiled by the engine.
Mine is weeping a bit from the hose clamp above that point.
Yours seem to weep from that hole, but could also be leak like mine just above it.

You have joined the ducati coolant leak club you lucky devil. There has been a number of posts regarding this issue

Take it to the dealer. Warranty should cover it. I had 2 leaks. They added the correct amount of sealant on the valve cover and I never saw a drip after.

It looks like I am joining pink demon club.

I have 2016 Panigale 1299 with 1400 miles. Street use, no track.

During off season, bike is sitting in the garage all winter connected to a battery tender, tires rotated periodically, rear lifted on pit bull rear bike stand.

Two-three weeks ago, I started the bike, let it run for few minutes. This morning I noticed pink liquid drops under the bike. Thanks to this thread, I know it's coolant.

Does anyone know what are the common spots to check for coolant leaks on 1299?

IF its coming out of the weep hole according to the ducati service document its supposed to leak.I tried attaching a copy of the service document but the image is a bit too large and the site doesnt allow it.

Bottom line is unlike everybody else who makes water pump seals that do not leak-Ducati
tells us theirs are meant to leak.Should be a lengthy thread regarding this leak from the weep hole on the forum.

Replaced mine over the winter and time will tell if it holds up once the season starts next month.
