I haven't been out with the group (settled, older BMW guys, mostly RT's , GS's) in a long time and really considered a slow ride with them, despite my ankle.

ended up not going and watching the MotoGP race.

'bout 10.15 i get a call from my bud that Marius has ran wide in a 150 degree right hander , lost the front on the damp double yellow and got run over by a car (with 4 20 yr. old kids in it, on their way home from a hiking trip)

the group tried to get him out from under the car, but there was no way.

he died at the scene.

Marius was a good rider, has been to several track events with US DESMO and leaves his wife and their 2 dogs here on earth.

please send out some prayers or good thoughts to him and keep in mind that we riders are very vilnerable out there.

Thanks

R.I.P. Marius Crisan

Very sad. Period.

We are indeed vulnerable, even though sometimes we pull on our gear and feel less so.
