Anyone who has these in black, does the Gloss match the Base wheel, or the Matte?

I saw a set. They are gloss black. I am looking at getting a set as well. What kind of deal were you able to get. Ive seen 2100 for set.

Oz says their new forged aluminum wheels are the same wt. as others magnesium wheels. Only one option for 1199 thou. I think 5-6 spoke design.

My wheels just arrived! I swear they are made of plastic, they are so light. I wonder if I can use my bicycle tire irons to R&R the tires... I am thinking I may not stripe these, so I can pretend it's an R instead of an S

Since your matte carbon fiber now clashes with your wheels you should prob switch to gloss. Want to part out any of your matte pieces?

Do you have matte or gloss carbon fiber on your bike?

I have gloss carbon on my bike. I'm a big Formula 1 guy and that is where carbon was first used in motor sports. It is always gloss and beautifully turned out. To myself the matte stuff looks more like plastic or fake carbon.IMHO
No offense to the matte guys out there.

I had time enough to pull them out of the box in a dark garage, then jumped in the Beemer for family trip to Chicago - so no idea how they will look until Sunday aftrernoon.

Considering it's not the same pattern as S/R wheels, nobody is gonna think your base with non-Ohlins is an R.
