i would say marquez is marquez. rossi 10 years ago had every advantage possible given to a rider. marquez is doing it on his own. 10 years ago was 08. rossi got trounced by stoner in 07. he got tires for himself as everyone else had to use the same. he would have quit if he didnt get them. yes eventually danny got them too but the title was already decided.
flopssi is the biggest fraud in motorsports.

you talk .... as always, as if marquez ran with suzuki or ktm instead of the largest motorcycle manufacturer and that quadruples the budget of the other teams

No question of his talent, but yes, he will need to prove himself on another bike eventually.

I agree with this. I said the same with Rossi years ago. And he did. Twice in fact. It was a shame with what happened at Ducati. But then again look at Dovi and Stoner. Marc will really need to move to another manufacture. If not for the pundits for himself. Time will tell. But why move when you are on the very best machinery out there. Padrosa proves that point week in week out. As much as I enjoy and admire Danny determination. He can finish 7th after surgery. Danny alone just showed the RCV is the easiest bike to ride.

Kind of like saying Jordan should have won a championship with the Wizards...

Not really the same. For example, I don't think Tom Brady needs to go win a Superbowl with another team in order to prove his greatness. Sure, it would add to his legacy, but sports teams are a different dynamic.

MM will eventually leave Honda, I am sure of it. My guess (hope) is 2020 to Ducati, or even to KTM if they manage to achieve their goals and produce a championship worthy bike.

Good point was brought up about Rossi and getting points to his race license, I have not heard how many points has MM93 accrued over the last 2 races, just curious?

i guess the yamaha is really easty to ride as jorge road it a few days after a collar bone break and when flopsi had the fake leg break. so the point you are trying to make doesnt hold water. riders do it all the time.

how many titles has rossi won again on yamaha. 1 (yes i know 2 but 08 was bs and everyone knows it). rossi only won when he had all the advantages and was on honda. Back then anybody could have road the honda and won.

budget lol are you kidding me. when flopsi went to ducati he had the biggest budget. took all his guys etc. did 0. he still has the biggest budget. not a coincidence that when JLO left the yamaha went to crap as Flopsi cant develop a bike.
15 and 16 they said the honda was terrible MM won it despite the honda. he has made the bike what it is and when it isnt he makes it win anyway.

Just a question are you saying Flopsi would have won from 2013 on if he was on the honda? or how is this why couldnt flopsi beat his own teamate on the yamaha in 2015 or the 1st year yamaha rider last year. why isnt he beating him now? oh the questions.

im sure MM would rather have the race points from Agentina and started at the back at COTA where he still would have won.

MM could have started from the garage from his chair and still won that race. It was crazy. He was doing 2:04s while everyone except for one or two where doing 2:05's and the rest of the field was in the 6's to 8's. I was watching live time tracking and could not believe his pace. NUTS!!!

actually it was embarrassing to watch. i had non-racing friends and family there and i had to explain to them the sport is really very competitive.

mm is an engineers dream, they can build the bike they want and he can ride the wheels off it. I don't think there is anyone else in the paddock that could even ride his bike, it would be too stiff, not turn, power be too abrupt, ect ect. He's at least two jumps ahead of everyone else out there.
