The Sachsenring GP was the 99th MotoGP race for Marc Marquez. He won his 9th successive race from a 9th successive pole in round 9 of the season & the only 2 riders he passed were 9 & 99.
I can only recall Rossi having similar numerology coincidences with the number 46 in the past.
