He's worth every nickel, no matter what. Just imagine what Ducati would be willing to pay him.
 
Let's see for how long . MM just needs to implement the entertainer part and gain some history... Oh and maybe become a bit of a diva.

His interviews are pretty funny I think.

Don't think so, not by factory pilot salaries anyway. Rossi took a haircut to come back to Yamaha with his tail between his legs. He still makes a fortune, but the Desmosedici years definitely damaged his value in the paddock. Overall, with sponsorship deals, merchandising and licensing he still rakes in the largest total amount by long way though.
