So nearly 3000 miles on it now and I've had it back to the dealers 3 times because the clutch lever biting point keeps getting less and less movement away from the handle, then N is hard to find and this last time the quick shifter wouldn't work on up shifts unless the throttle was released!? Anyway, looks like I'm not the only one to have this problem! Ducati told me this time that yes there was lot of air in the system and no visible signs of a leak. However BMW were also experience this problem with the s1000rr and they resolved it by putting small sponge in the reservoir, as in fitting inside the cap of the reservoir. so I'm going to look for something along these lines and give it a go and will update if there is an success.

Yes please let us know, tired of this .... changed slave cylinder to aftermarket and the problem still there. Thanks

The S1000RR clutch is mechanically operated, how could they be experiencing the same problem ?

It was just BMW bikes is what he referred to, don't know why I had S1000RR in my head.

Don't know if this is the same issue but the clutch lever is very inconsistent. I've bled the clutch and it helped but not much. Finding neutral is much easier when the bike is warm but the lever is still inconsistent. I constantly have to adjust the clicks to find a sweet spot every other ride. I'm debating on buying the AEM levers in favor for the Duca evoIIIs. The EvoIIIs have adjustable ratio, which I hope will solve the problem but I REALLY want the AEM set up :(

well that didn't work! same situation again but now the dealership is getting a lot of 1299 having clutch issues, so waiting to hear back from Ducati. something needs to be replaced as its getting to be a joke!

Common problem on the 1199, hoped they would have fixed it by now.
My 1199R had the slave cylinder replaced. Since this did not remedy the issue, I contacted DNA and I was told that a TSB 15-001 recall would fix it.
Well you might have guessed, yet another call to DNA :-(
