  • Melandri had some modifications to help with his small stature and this bike has them all including the machined down clutch lever to allow it to be closer to the bar.
  • Full electronics package right down to telemetry on the steering damper!! Bike is complete and running unlike a lot of ex WSBK

At 150,0000 whats the point? I mean you cant street it, you probably cant track it unless you have access to all those special unobtanium parts and it didn't win anything did it? So it's a item to add to your hoard, park in a foyer or your office which seems a shame but it is a beautiful thing.

If I had the means, i would buy it for parts... ;)

Seriously though, there are a few guys out there who can sneeze that kind of money and will (hopefully) track it, if only occasionally. The bike did serve it's purpose in 2018, and if it brings someone else any value, no matter how superficial, I'm all for it. Even if that means a clown like me in the garage sitting on it drunk and naked making Vroom Vroom noises 😆
 
From the knots Melandri had it in (bucking down the straights) it does not look easy to ride or confidence inspiring
 
I think the average potential buyer is not going to have the skillset to experience the issues Melandri had. If you've never stood next to him, Marco is a pretty small guy (and that's coming from someone who is not much taller than him). A bigger (and slower) rider may not have it as bad.

Even worse. Since the ergos on this bike were set for a jockey, a normal sized human would need to be shoe horned into this bike haha
