Three of us drove down to Jennings GP track Jennings FL. THis was sponsored by Mellilimoto and NPR ducati, I think it was limited to 50-60 bikes almost all ducs.

The amazing thing, 11 panigales!! Had an absolute blast the track is not nearly as technical as barber where most of my track experience is. Novice group had lead riders for the first three sessions.

Sorry no pics tho I spect Melli will have some pics soon.

sounds like a lot of fun! pics!!!

CMP with US Desmo was a blast too!
had a little rain all over the day, but the temperatures were perfect. i missed the first 2 sessions, was late and had to get tires changed...

+1

This was my first ever track day experience and ... wow, what a blast! My Pani S was incredibly confidence inspiring - with each session, I was able to go a bit faster and push a little harder in each corner. Lots of helpful folks to show us noobs the lines and Melillimoto & NPR put on a terrific show.

What can I say ... I'm hooked! :D

Dang I would have loved to go but lack of new tires prevented it. Good to see you had fun. Jennings is a really nice track. Even though it doesnt have the elevation changes barber has it makes for pretty instense switchback riding on the tight infield. The straighaway after turn one is enough to push 145+mph which is fun too. I did it back in 2009 with my 848 and couldnt imagine how much better it would have been on my pani. Hopefully one day we will get to track in the same place at the same time. :D

phil, hoping to but not totally sure yet. Roebling isn't one of my fav tracks but several of us may be going out.

Luis, your old streetfighter was on the track at Jennings this past weekend. You're too right about Jennings, that 5-6-7-8? combo is tricky, but it's nice to not have any blind turns like barber has, Barber still my fav track.

anyone of you planning to go to roebling rd with US DESMO end of next month?

Think its time to turn it up a notch.. Road Atlanta :D.

Melillimoto

Twas a blast. He did a 1199 Panigale only session which was optically and audibly cool! Here's some photos of me, sorry if they bore you. Sebastian is the man.

Great report.

+1 for Sebastian. I would have been there, but I had knee surgery yesterday.

I'm all for a Barber trip if anyone else from Central Florida wants to go.

T8 is not my favorite at Jennings. I highsided back into Georgia in 2006 on that corner.

I know, I hate I sat out the Panis only session!! I thought is was just going to be a lap or two for photos, then I saw 10 panis blastin around the track for about 15 minutes! DAMN!

It was an amazing track day thats for sure :D. I was incredibly quick on the Panigale, however I will say this its a tough bike to get used to. Corner entries can be wobbly and you just have to let the bike do the work and not stiff up so the bike will plant it self in place. This was my third track day and am now running in expert class thanks to this bike. I did destroy the tires though lol. First picture of the rear tire is before lunch and the last one is at the end of the day.

I will definitely be at Jennings for the next Melillimoto track day on thanksgiving weekend. Hope to see all of you at there again.

What DTC level were you running on? What were the ambient temperatures? Just curious...

Too bad that Jennings is 6.5 hrs from here... Seems like a nice track!

I was running race mode with traction control set at 4 and EBC at 1. Temp I believe where in the upper 80s. Looking at the videos traction control kicked in a lot as I was powering out of the corners. I will post the videos once I get a chance. Phil if you ever get a chance go to Jennings. Its a great track well marked, easy to learn, and best of all only bikes so no crappy payment.
