Just got off the phone to the dealer and he couldn't have been more helpful with a free upgrade on heat shielding (seat) + fix dash wire issue which is a recall as of last Friday + he will inspect the lower right fairing and make sure the burn issue had previously been done by the last owner. if not that will be done as well.
All this because you people on here alerted me to it...Thanks

The new larger CF heat shield for full termi, will only take a bit of heat off your right leg.


I have the old heat shield and wrapped the full termi under the seat, its a night and day difference. I don't even need the upgraded heat shield now and have no complaints.

Bone stock with the upgraded shields was much hotter.

Ok so just plain old exhaust wrap tie wired on...?
BTW...my other ride is a FE450 as well

Yep.

I used that platinum colored wrap, with those stupid ties.

Hose clamps work better
