Hey guys

I've noticed we are pretty well represented here with those that have served to protect our way of life in this country and others.

I wanted to slip a quick post out and say thanks for your sacrifice and your service. God bless and safe riding this weekend.

Herschel.

Heck yea!!
Big thanks to our Vets!
We can't forget the people that served and sacrificed for our great country!

I'll bet there are more vets here than you think... Some of us don't put it in our username...

For instance, I served in the US Navy from 1985 to 1990 on an Oliver Hazard Perry Class Guided Missile Fast Frigate called the USS De Wert (FFG-45).

I'll bet for every vet that puts something in their username to identify themselves as such, there are 3 of us who do not identify themselves.

So, to all of my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Arms (or out now), salutations!

It is we who have worked hard to keep our country free!

Thank you everyone. Pleasure to serve for you all and thank God return home. Broken for sure but unlike some who didn't get chance in life to return to their loved ones!

Semper Fidelis My Forum Family!

I love you guys for all you do for me and country. This is what makes the USA a great ( the best)country in the world! God bless!!!!!!

Three of my comrades in arms are not able to enjoy this weekend with us. I am an AF dog handler but I only deploy with USA units---Rangers, Infantry, and SF. Even SEALs request our help too. Next time you see an AF person, please don't think that he has a comfy desk job. Due to certain unfortunate circumstances, I have to visit two graves in Arlington every year. I do with pride and a heavy heart.

South Afghan. 2011. Fella on the left is Dennis Murray of 10th Mountain, he passed from getting hit by an IED while pulling his assistant platoon sgt to safety. His death devastated the whole FOB, i had the joy of doing two missions with him side by side prior to his death. He is buried in his hometown, close to his family.

East Afghan, 2008. Deployed with a team of Green Berets from Bragg. Lost two operators that i befriended, they died in the same IED strike on their next rotation.

Brad "B-Rad" Bohle. Great guy and a friend but a crap poker player.

Bradley S. Bohle, Sergeant First Class, United States Army

Joshua "Skippy" Mills. He entered the 18X program without any prior military experience and passed everything with ease. He was a natural for that job and was a picture whore lol. I have a vid of him posing with an suppressed MP5 and practicing slamming the bolt shut
while saying "Like a SEAL".
Joshua M. Mills, Staff Sergeant, United States Army

Hey Castor. Very good post brother! I honor anyone in the ranks and my heart goes out to you for the loss of your colleagues man. My best friend and best man of 24 yrs was vaporized by an IED in Helmand last yr which I still have a very hard time realizing. We were Marine Embassy Guards together in Munich while the wall was still up and he was a Sergeant Major when killed, as well as a Team Leader for the LAPD SWAT team who thankfully was classified as an in the line of duty death for his family he left behind. Google Robert J Cottle.

As someone who has a true Service Dog I hold a great deal of respect for you MWD crew. Just finished a great book called Trident Warriors written by a SEAL who trains all their SOF dogs. Good read for you dude!
Thanks for your years of service and pls contact me next time you come to the area so we can visit our brothers here at Arlington together! They are probably placing all the flags at each grave right now as I type this!

Semper Fi!

Thought Id follow your lead and post some pics of Rob, myself, my wife, and of course his final resting place.

Beautiful posts everyone! God bless our country and even more every Sailor, Soldier, Marine, Airman, and Coast Guardsman out there!

Nice. I think it is awesome you guys remember your fallen friends and share their stories on this forum. Even though it is a bike forum, this weekend, we should celebrate our military men and women. Good thread (The years I served were in many ways the best of my life)

Yes, thank you guys for being the best you can be and my heart goes out to you from one Vet to another. Served during Desert Storm along with my bro who's bldg was close to being hit with mortar rounds. Keep pushing and striving for the best guys. Thanks again

A nod of respect from the other side of water for all those that serve or have served.

As many if you may know we lost one of our lads - Lee Rigby on the streets of London just a few days a go. Lets us not forget the sacrifice the armed services do in keeping us safe.

Thank you, Gunny. My condolences for your loss as well, they are gone but never forgotten. That saying is all too real for me, I am sure as well for you.

I am due for a visit later on this year, I will def let you know when I am going to be in the area. I actually watched several vids about Mike Ritland, he is popular within our community, his training is second to none.

Thank You to all that have, are and will serve our great country. I have 2 tattoo's, this is the first one i got on my fore arm a few years ago. It is a memorial to thank all of our veterans.
