Michelin Power Cup 2 on V2

Hey guys,
I'm looking to switch to Michelin Cup 2 for track days, but they don't have 180/60 sizes.
Using 180/55 will make the wheel smaller in diameter, however 190/55 looks almost the same in height.
Does anybody use 190/55 on standard V2 rim ?
Would it fit ?

I use a 190/55 but on a 6" wide rim on my V2. The width clears no problem.

I don't specifically know about the V2, but the other bikes have a calibration function in the dash. If you have this and run it, the ECU will know what the difference in tire diameter size is front to back, this will allow for proper calibration to the various functions. The 60 size tires just give a sharper radius and present more side wall when leaned over, its becoming the go to tire for liter bikes.

Thank you for your answers.
My question is more about ability to fit 190 tire on the standard V2 rim, it is 5,5 inch wide.
It looks like it should be fine, but wanted to hear if anybody actually did it.

Having the same question on my 899 rim (5.5 as well)
I can’t find pirelli sc3 slicks on 180/60 size
But they have 190/60

You can run a 190/55 instead of the 180/60 on the stock rim. I've also heard that California Superbike School and a few others exclusively use a 190/55 on their V2 bikes, but I haven't personally verified that.

There is a tire calibration feature on the V2 (in the menu options) that sorts things out after a tire change, so be sure to do that. You can read how it works in the manual.

^ Yup, calibrate the tire through the function on the dash. Swapped out my GF tires for the Michelin Power GP's.

Yes I’ve ran Michelin slicks 190/55 on my v2.

Pirelli no longer makes the 180/60 in anything but SC2

I reached out to them (ctracetires) and they told me to give the 190/60 a try, that it’s designed for the 5.5 rim and most people racing with that size wheel run that tire

The 190 needs a little more lean angle but does add more grip.

Update:
190/55 power cup 2 being installed and used on track.
No issues at all, fits same as Pirelli.
BTW, supercorsa 180/60 has actually 190 width, so tire fits exactly the same.

180/60 has 240 width

240mm is around the tire, what I meant is 190mm from one side to another (instead of 180)
