Hey Zaid1199 and Venomous, how are you guys holding up and are the bikes ok? I'm originally from Mass and still have lots of family in the New England area. In fact some of them are stuck here with me seeing their flights got cancelled :). Anyway, hope all are safe and dry!

Holding up just fine here. I live in downtown Boston, no trees to topple over and the water stayed where it should be for the most part. My mother and sister lost power but the live further inland where there are plenty of trees. All in all things are getting back to normal pretty quickly. Hope the roads will be clear on Saturday, gonna go for a day long (possibly chilly) ride

Venomous i too was planning on saturday, but watch the clouds and rain roll back in, where you thinking of headed?

I got hit with just rain/wind/cold while going from Knoxville to Asheville, NC. Nothing like what happened in NY/NJ.

As for tires--I'm getting ready for my third set, TransNone13.

Shame you had to get crappy weather through there, some really nice bits between the two if you take the fun route(s). This weekend would have been the better bet! 74 and sunny in Robbinsville Saturday they say; will probably end up at the Gap myself as days like that are going to be scarce in the months to come. Cherohala is calling...

Bucketloads of nice roads around Asheville though; BRP, Diamondback loop, 80, any of the routes up towards Linville Gorge/Blowing Rock, etc. If you're still around there and feel adventurous, 197 south from Burnsville over the mountain to 28 is really cool. Have to do about 4 miles of gravel descent down the south side, but it's fine and fun. Did it on a 675 Daytona in the Spring; left my bud on his V-Strom for dead. Adv Riders...

As for mileage, I think I'm right about 3400 since late June, call it four months.

450 miles (well, not really)
I was around 3,600 miles when I had to take the bike to the dealer where it sat for about 6 weeks (Waiting for parts + Dealer is 450 miles away + I was flying around and busy with work).
Anyway, after having my dash was replaced to fix the malfunctioning horn and signals, I was back down to zero and now, after a great ride back from the Dealer I am at a little over 450 miles.

Man! I think I am over 8,000 now. Remember I had a fire and a fuel injector failure too. Been without it for about 2 1/2 months this summer. Oh well, it sits safe in my garage. Gonna put a few more on this next weekend. Hoping to put on the same amount as I did last year on my 848 (18,500 miles)
